The Songbook Tour promises to be an unforgettable celebration of Gary's extraordinary four-decade-spanning career, and will see him perform songs from his back catalogue of hits with Take That and as a solo artist.
The show marks a hotly-anticipated return to the Eden Sessions stage following an outstanding performance in front of the Biomes in 2018.
The Songbook Tour will be a celebration of Gary’s status as one of the most successful British songwriters and record producers. As part of Take That, he won eight BRIT Awards and sold more than 45 million records.
One of Take That’s biggest hits, Back For Good, will turn 30 in March 2025, having reached number one on its release and maintaining its position at the top of the charts for four consecutive weeks. It went on to become the group’s biggest-selling song of the 90’s.
This Life On Tour saw Gary embark on a huge world tour this year with his fellow Take That bandmates, performing to enormous sell-out crowds. Their latest album of the same name, This Life, was released in 2023 and earned the band their 12th UK number-one album, with massive hits including Windows and This Life.
In October 2024, the band curated their own four-day festival in Malta – The Greatest Weekend – where the iconic album, Everything Changes, was performed live in its entirety for the first time since its 1993 release.
Beyond his achievements with Take That, Gary has co-written and produced music for a host of other renowned artists, including Dame Shirley Bassey, Sir Elton John and Robbie Williams. Most recently, he wrote the song Running Wild for Jin, member of the record-breaking South Korean group BTS.
